I've Updated My Gallery!

I was long overdue on taking stock of my work over the last few years and updating my website gallery accordingly. This due mostly to workshops consuming most of my waking life, as opposed to print exhibits as in the past. Most glaringly, the gallery had little to show for all the work I'd put into the 'expressionist' images I've spent most of my time on recently.

Well, the layoff is over. I hope it was worth the wait!

See the new and updated gallery here.

I’ve Been Chosen For A Unique Exhibit!

Just found out I have been selected to participate in the Blind Date exhibit in Canton, OH at Translations Gallery! This exhibit pairs the work of writers and visual artists who have never met previously.

I will have two pieces in this show which begins Friday, May 3rd.

I’m Best in the Woods

"Trees in particular were mysterious and seemed to me direct embodiments of the incomprehensible meaning of life. For that reason the woods were the place where I felt closest to its deepest meaning and to its awe-inspiring workings." - C.G. Jung

Black (& White) Friday

DSC_1169

Something I don’t find myself doing much since my high school days, when I used to carry an Olympus OM-1 everywhere I went. I can still smell the fixer.

Jackson Pollock Would Be Proud

A nice example of the amazing patterns that show why I have such a fascination with Adirondack river rock.

Another Season Becomes A Memory

DSC_2132

As the very last leaves fall here in Cleveland, the Adirondacks are seeing their first significant snows. It’s been nearly a month since these last leaves fell there. I’m not ready to give the fall up just yet. Winter can wait…

Beauty in the Everyday

Wood, rock, soil. The foundation of everything Adirondack. So subtle, yet so vital. The tree falls, becomes the soil. Rock rises from below, platform for new constructions. Everyday wonder.
